A quick digital mock-up, describing the basic layout for a three-seat powered glider.The rear two passengers would be on the centre of gravity, so any pax combination could be taken. The propeller would be aimed backwards towards the rear wing, supplying lift but avoiding fuselage drag, and folding/retracting while in glider mode to save drag.
The fuselage is comparable in size to that of a conventional glider, which gives an idea of the scale I am intending here.
